It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for Tuesday Starts with Tea. No book this week, this week I’m just focusing on tea. In today’s post I am going to tell you about the samples I have tried from Harney and Sons.

When you place an order with Harney and Son’s from their website, they send you samples along with your order. Since I order from them frequently my stack of samples was starting to get pretty big. I decided it would be a good idea to try them all and share my thoughts with you guys.
It’s no secret that I love Harney and Sons, most of my Tuesday Starts with Tea blog posts feature them. Ever since a friend introduced me to this brand a few years ago I have been a spoiled tea snob. I no longer have time for low quality tea.
Rooibos Chai:
- Caffeine Free
- Herbal
- Cloves, Cinnamon and Cardamom

This was my first time to ever have Rooibos. I loved this tea. The only way I really know how to describe it, is that it tastes like Christmas. I added a little bit of honey and it was delicious. I will most definitely be buying some of this. If you want to see what Christmas taste like you can order some here: https://amzn.to/3hQyS2Z .
Decaffeinated Ceylon:
- Black Tea

When I first tried this I thought it tasted really…um, well…sad. I blame the lack of caffeine. After I added honey though, everything turned around and I ended up being sad when I reached the bottom of the teacup.
Just as it states on the package it is a very smooth tea.
I love a good dark/bold black tea and with a little help from my favorite organic honey this one makes me very happy. I will definitely be keeping this stocked in my tea cabinet from now on.

Organic Ginger Turmeric:
- Caffeine free
- Organic
- Apple pieces, Ginger root, Lemongrass, Turmeric, Hibiscus, Beetroot, Nutmeg, Cardamom

I love that this packaging had a Dachshund on it! Made me happy when I saw it.
This blend was super refreshing. I feel like it would be really nice to drink on a day when you aren’t feeling well. The taste reminds me of Fall. This doesn’t even need a sweetener added to it, it is really good on its own. As soon as I run out of my Organic Lemon Ginger from Steep (by Bigelow) I will be ordering this.

Organic Green:
- With Citrus and Ginkgo
- Handpicked from China

You guys! This is so good! I am pretty sure I just found my new favorite green tea. The citrus in this makes it super refreshing. I’m glad they gave me two samples of this, because this was another one where I was actually sad when my tea cup was empty. I loved this! I’m totally buying this in bulk as soon as possible. It doesn’t need anything added to it either it is so good on it’s own, although of course you can add stuff if you want to.
I didn’t know what Ginkgo was, so I had to look it up. Apparently It is really good for your brain and helps fight against Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I can’t wait to try even more teas from Harney and Sons soon…when I do you know I’m going to tell you all about it.
Right now I am reading another book by Mindy Kaling…so don’t worry the book part of Tuesday Starts with Tea will be back soon
Do you have a favorite tea brand? Let me know in the comments, I’m always up for trying new stuff.
